Workshop Instructor: Don Low, Singapore

Don Low, born and bred in Singapore, graduated with a Master in Animation from Savannah College of Art & Design, Georgia, United States in 2008. Currently, he is a freelance illustrator, and teaches drawing part-time in 2 local universities. He has been attending urban sketching trips and groups since 2009 and is a Urban Sketchers correspondent representing Singapore.

Don Low’s passion is drawing and sketching as much as time allows him to do so. He has over 20 years of experience as a local illustrator and comic artist. He is well-known for being an artist who can deliver in several mediums and art forms, including both digital and traditional mediums (watercolour, pen & ink, oil and acrylics, etc), comic and caricature art, and figure drawing. His works are featured in “The Art of Urban Sketching”, “An Illustrated Life 2”,  “Urban Sketchers Singapore Vol 1”, and “Urban Sketching: The Complete Guide to Techniques” and etc.
