I really enjoy seeing Shari Blaukoph’s winter scenes of Montreal all covered in snow. Seattle on the other hand tends to be gray, wet and damp. It doesn’t pour here much but there is a constant dampness all the time and a lot of drizzle. Most people don’t carry umbrellas they just wear jackets with hoods. Tuesday was a surprise, the sun was out and casting great shadows. I took 20 minutes to sketch the tree and house across the street. I didn’t have time to lay watercolor over it. I thought I would do that the next morning…it took the 4th morning, this morning, before we had sun again. So here are the two versions with 4 days in between.
