BANGKOK 2_Skyline

Yes, this is yet another Bangkok skyline. With its many moods, we look over the west not far from Chao Phraya River, central Bangkok’s blood and life line, the chorus of golden colour sky-reahced spires of the Royal Palace and the Emeral Buddha Temple reveals our inner nature of soft and accommodating souls steep in tradition of old Asian culture.Look south-eastward toward the new and ever growing ambition of the modernised neighbourhood bursting at the seem by the aggression of the materialist facilities. Fed greedily by the long overdue mass transit line, Sukhumvit Road at top-of-the-class Emporium, the shoppers’ paradise, seem rude and senseless by comparison.

However, both places are the MUST BE places while in Bangkok. Ten of thousands of people are there for you to be with, I was there for a thousand times, will be there (at both places) for the next hundred years. Just to make more sketches, that is!!

The following two sketches are not exactly the skylines, but they are what made the skyline a skyline. Hope you like them 😉

Asok Montri Road, off Sukhumvit and back steet of Bangkkok’s china town.
