Basel is a great place to just walk around. We like to park in Germany, walk across the border, take the #6 tram into Claraplatz, get a coffee at Starbucks, walk through a couple shops, cross the bridge, go into the walking area, get an ice cream… it won’t be long before they set up the Christmas market booths all around town- always something to look forward to.
