BUS RIDE HOME

Evening commuters on the Uptown 15 Limited.  While I was drawing a fellow commuter sat next to me and complimented me.  I thanked her. She told me she couldn’t draw a straight line.  I said, “neither can I!  You just never had the right training.  You’d be surprised what a difference it makes and what you can accomplish.”  She said she wasn’t very good in school, even as a child. “I was great socially and could talk about anything.  I was very outgoing,” she said. “That’s very funny,” I said, “because I was painfully shy after the sixth grade and would rather draw than talk.”  A really nice lady. She’s in sales!  Her stop came and we said good night to each other.
