Amsterdam in the Fall

These sketches were created in September during SketchCrawl but I didn’t get the chance to upload them until today.
I was fortunate enough to find a houseboat to rent for a few days in the Jordaan area in Amsterdam. And it was Fall. And there were bicyclists everywhere. And I couldn’t understand a single word of what they were saying. And it was fantastic.

It’s an experience I would recommend to anyone: bicycling down the canals… eating a herring or stopping for a broodje (delicious sandwiches), checking out facades, spending a couple of hours at Rembrand’s house….
I have more sketches from the same series and will upload them later on.
