Portland Symposium

Just want to put a quick post up on here to thank everyone who participated in the Urban Sketchers Symposium in Portland, especially Gabi Campanario for making it all happen! It was a fabulous event, truly, as Matt Brehm called it, a ‘Woodstock’ of sketching! The drawing above is a quick one I made of a train going over the gorgeous Steel Bridge, when I tagged along with Lapin’s ‘urban line’ group on Friday morning. The photo in the banner this week is of the output of that session. I don’t want to take up too much room here, you can read my full post on the Symposium blog if you’d like.

Thanks again to Gabi, the presenters and all the participants. See you next year!! – Veronica
