This is a shot of me next to my drawings at the incredible, “ON LOCATION: Drawing Every Day,” exhibition gallery at the Montserrat College of Art. The show opened on Nov. 11, and my friends and fellow artists, Veronica Lawlor and Sue Buroker and I drove up for the Artist Reception on Nov. 18th. As you can see, Leonie Bradbury, curator and director of the Montserrat Gallery, did an amazing job designing the show’s artwork. There were splashes of color and drawings coming out of the gallery walls, just pulsating the feeling of reportage! What a joy to walk through and take in all the great pieces of “On Location” drawing.
I would like to thank Leonie Bradbury, Maggie Cavallo and Lucas Spivey of Montserrat College for doing such a great job. It was a pleasure working with all of you.
Thank you!
If you go online to Montserrat College of Art Galleries, www.montserrat.edu/galleries/montserrat, you can see more of the great work of those artists in the show, including Gabi Campanario, Elissa Della-Piana, Kyle David Lindholm, Veronica Lawlor, Fred Lynch and Peter Arkle.
I included some of my drawings that were part of the “On Location: Drawing Every Day,” exhibit.
The gang’s all here! What a fun night this was. Wonderful people, wonderful art!

Great shot of Gabi Campanario, Leonie Bradbury, Veronica Lawlor, and myself, on the left.
Gabi, great to finally meet you!
On Friday Gabi took the students out for a draw on the streets of Beverly!

What a great time we had at Montserrat College of Art.
Thank you everyone!
Thank you for your great photos, Sue!
