I went to the Barber Shop in Al Ain. I choose a fancy place in a the Al Ain Mall this time. I had go always to cheaper ones, but you got the disadvantage you get almost the same haircut no matter what you said to the barber since they usually dont speak english. I had the Pecha Kucha Night presentation in Dubai and wanted to look good. This barber did speak english and was very good at his work. The idea of a self portrait had something that was in my mind for a long time. The barber was happy that I sketched him and he even helped me to dry the watercolour with his hairdryer.
