My contribution to Urban Sketchers show at the Ackland Museum store

Sometimes it’s useful to check an old sketches. If not for the show I’d never took them out from the file again. And thanks for Laura Frankstone I found that old file of them.

I did that sketch the day Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto open it’s new doors for the first time. I dropped by in hope to get complimentary free tickets to enter. But there were too many complimentary tickets to hand so I didn’t go this day.

I went couple of blocks down south and sketched this excellent art supplies store behind the Ontario College of Art and Design experimental building.

Same summer at Distillery District where torontonians walking among old industrial spirit and brewery buildings converted into restaurants and galleries nowadays.

I wonder why I didn’t include them in my Toronto Graffiti book? They were good sketches indeed!

Thank you, Laura, and Alice for such a great exposure opportunity!
