Giralda

Sevilla, Giralda

Sometimes, no matter how much you try to avoid it, sketching from a “postcard vintage point” can be very rewarding. Especially if it is in company of friends and with a cold beer next to the sketchbook.

(Giralda is the popular name for the belltower of the cathedral of Seville. It is basically the old minar of the main mosque of the city during the Middle Ages, that had another level added during the Renaissance to house the bells)
