A few Disney Sketches

Inspired by the recent postings from Chris and Pete, I also decided to post a few Disney sketches from my recent visit too.

I didn’t sketch much since my trip was a business trip to attend a CAD (Computer aided design) conference taking place at the Disney property. It was quite geeky but actually learned quite a lot and was worth the trip.

I flew over the weekend and had a little time after the conference so I was able to visit the neighboring parks to slip in a few sketches.

Here’s AT-AT, that was placed at the entrance of the Start Tours ride.

I was pretty excited in seeing the next view – Cinderella’s castle with a huge industrial crane!

I couldn’t believe they were using this crane during park hours.

A lot of people that were taking pictures with the castle in the background and were complaining about the crane being in the way. I might have been the only person that was delighted in seeing this view!

And here’s Epcot Center – the big sphere construction.

I noticed the sphere was made up of lots of triangular panels. 130119_epcot

The next opportunity, I’d definitely like to return with lots more time to sketch especially around the international area in the Epcot center.
