Organ Pavilion, San Diego

On August 23rd, The San Diego Urban Sketchers Meetup group got together at Balboa Park for an afternoon of sketching. We started out in the main plaza which is surrounded by 3 museums and 2 restaurants. We moved over to the Spreckels Organ Pavilion to enjoy the performance at 2 pm.

The Spreckels Organ is one of the world’s largest outdoor pipe organs, it was donated to the City of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama-California Exposition.
