A Great Ride–Kansas City and environs

Sometimes a composite page is all I have time for–this one is from two different parking lots in Kansas City
Ink sketch with a vintage Sheaffer pen–those cars move FAST.
One of my favorite places to sketch is in a jazz pub…this one was at the Green Lady Lounge with Molly Hammer.
And often I just sit at the edge of a parking lot and ignore the buildings just beyond those first trees.  (A splot of ink fell on my paper so I turned it into fingerprint “foliage”!)

I have enjoyed my time as a correspondent here on the Urban Sketchers blog more than I can say…a great honor and privilege!  But time, teaching, arthritis and too many other obligations told me it’s time to give up my slot to a new correspondent…

Thank you all for your comments and company over the years!  I’ll still be active at Urban Sketchers Midwest blog, of course–we have an active sketch group, and I can’t stop doing those urban sketches.  My fingers start itching when it’s been too long!

And do please visit me on Facebook or my website–I do manage to keep busy, and I ‘m nowhere near retiring, just simplifying.

I’ll be checking back to see all the wonderful new work here…and again, thanks.  It’s been a great ride!
