Final sketches from 2014

The end of the year was quite busy so I didn’t get around to posting much.  Here are some sketches to close out the old year.   Have a Happy New Year and Cheers to 2015!

Before taking down the Christmas Decorations I did my annual Christmas sketch of our house.

Though this is not a sketch, I found time between Christmas and New Years to make this Moravian Star out of painted watercolor paper.  It took me about 20 hours to make it.  My son figured out the templates and how to build it.

I was given complimentary tickets to see the Northwest Boychoir sing at St. Marks Church in Seattle.  I had in previous years sketched the concert.  The Director found my sketches online somehow and requested prints of the sketches to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

Soulumination Artist Holiday Sale 2014.  I was a participant in an Artist Holiday sale with a portion of the proceeds going to support the ongoing work of the non profit Soulumination.org  This was a scene from the table across from me.

Our 2014 Thanksgiving Table with a total of 11 pies on the table.  We had at least two more pies  waiting in  the wings.  There is a lot of pie left over so we have them for the next couple of days.
