Dixie music in Seville

[by Inma Serrano in Seville, Spain] New projects are on the way. Recently I was invited to draw during the developing process of a new LP by O Sister. Their songs are a tribute to the American music of the 30s, when dixie and swing were in their golden decade.

Among their ideas, they want to recover the free spirit in which jazz emerged: Music just for dancing and have fun.

I love this thinking because is just the same feeling I understand the sketching: improvisation, freedom and enjoy the moment.

Last week we could enjoy a live performance from some of their components and it was an unforgettable night.
