Country sketches. Rural buildings.

[by
Javier de Blas in La Rioja, Spain]
I must confess that I feel more like a country sketcher than an urban sketcher. I love watching alive trees accompanied by their natural friends, mountains, grass, rivers, clean skies… Also I love ruins, old buildings, kindly re-shaped by the time.

These two buildings you can find in Sierra Cebollera, La Rioja, Spain, where I came along in May for a “sketch rally”. They are nothing special but they give this cozy atmosphere of things made half and half between man and nature.
