USk Chicago Sketch Seminar 2018

Urban Sketchers Chicago is pleased to announce our USk Chicago Sketch Seminar 2018. The event will be held in Chicago, on June 1-3, and will be hosted by the historic Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts.

This is our chapter’s annual event and will be our 4th Seminar since the chapter’s inception in 2012. Previous Seminars were held in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and welcomed participants from Chicago and the Midwest, as well as from other U.S. cities and Canada. The Chicago Sketch Seminar is modeled like the USk Symposium, and it features workshops by Chicago sketching instructors. This year three U.S. and Canadian instructors will join the Chicago team. Participants will have opportunities to sketch our beautiful city during sketchwalks and other activities. They will learn methods, processes, techniques and concepts of drawing on location.
