So, Porto Symposium is officially open! At the morning all the participants arrived to make a check-in, and when they filled little by little the main hall, creating a long line, I started to realize the symposium’s dimensions – it is so huge! Here are some people I sketched while waiting in the line. It was really exciting to meet some old friends i didn’t see from my first Symposium in Lisbon!
After the registration, it was the time for the first Sketchwalk. Sketchers filled up all the streets from the Alfandega to the Luis Bridge. I heard sketchers describing to the wondering strangers who we are and what we are doing, and it was nice hear about the USk community from the side!
And finally we got to the opening reception, people were just happy to meet, greet and chat again, and I had some more nostalgic conversations with some old friends. Let the game begin!
