Revisit PanJiaYuan flea market , south of beijing city. More stalls but less crowds due to the cold weather and Covid situation. There are more locals than foreigners ever since the virus, many foreigners had left the city to go back to their own country. Many friends and their friends were unable to continue living in China as most visa are not approved. Others whom had complete their employment contract are not able to continue and had to be transfer back to their own country. Occasionally there are more people visiting attractions, parks, museum, arts district and shopping centre when the virus cases goes down. Other time when virus cases goes up, many will packed up foods and stock up at home for the next few days. This has been the kind of life we are experiencing in beijing now and with the winter olympic around the corner, we are expecting stricter regulations for people going in and out of beijing. Already, the government are encouraging beijinger working out of beijing not to come back for the lunar chinese new year and to spend the holidays outside if possible. This is to make sure the winter games are not effected and increase the security works loads for the local authority.
