The Twist Tower. Le Havre (France)

Tuesday, Sept. 12th 2023, Le Havre, France.

This is a sketch of Tower Alta. The twist aspect of this tower presents a perspective challenge! The drawing difficulty of type of architecture is that each level is different.  Breathing and taking time are the secret (for me)

I drew this low-angle shot alone. I have created the Le Havre’s local chapter in August this year (waiting for a soon officialization).

Medium: Fontain pen Platinium extra fine carbon ink, water color.
Paper: Hahnemühle Harmony 300g 30/40 cold pressed.
