Holiday Sketching in Kiparissi

On holiday in Greece this June, I made a daily sketch in my A5 travel sketchbook using fine liner pen and watercolour. In the dramatic little seaside village of Kiparissi in Lakonia, with mountains behind, it was difficult to find a shade in the narrow streets with an attractive view. The old village is very pretty with many whitewashed buildings. The weather was unusually hot, and the paint dried really quickly so I spent only about 30 minutes on my drawing endeavours.
