Prior to this year’s USk Symposium, faculty and volunteers were treated to, for many, their introduction to mate (pronounced ma-tuh) and its special role in Argentinian life. This video features a poem about mate and scenes from the ceremony.  

Prior to this year’s symposium, Cecilia Novello and her team of local volunteers hosted a special event with local high school students. Their goal was to introduce the kids to Urban Sketchers and give them an opportunity to go outside–with new tools provided by our sponsors!–to enjoy some time sketching...
