Urban Sketching doesn’t always have to be doing a drawing of people or buildings or streets. It can also be a detail. Take for instance, manhole covers. I have a secret obsession with them. wherever I go around the world, I always take photos of the different sewer caps. I’ve amassed quite a collection. You can see them on my Flicr account. I’m posting this because it will be read by people all over the world. I’m asking anyone out there to go and shoot some of the manhole covers in your town and e-mail me the jpgs.
