This drawing was begun in non-waterproof ink, and finished in waterproof, when the cartridge ran out half way. I was impatient to get back to the drawing before the sun disappeared, so washed the pen through, but didn’t wait for the to dry before refilling, which is probably why the line kept drying up on me. Dammit dammit dammit!
I painted it a couple of days later, at the same time of day. The laundry basket bled a bit, but I quite like the softer, ‘rough & ready’ look.
