Friday was our dental appointment at the National University Hospital Dental Center. We chose it because of our good experience the last time we went, which was about 4 to 5 years ago. I had my wisdom extracted by a student dentist supervised by his professor. The whole process cost only SGD30, opposed to SGD 300 by a professional dentist. I know the risk of letting a student do the work but everything turned out alright. In fact the prof has to take over because the student did not have the strength to put the tooth out. So that equaled to letting a professional do the work.

Anyway the current visit to the dentist went really well. The experience was pleasant and smooth topped with the dentist’s patience and skills too. After I had my teeth cleaned, I sat within the room to sketch my wife having her teeth checked. When I finished I asked for the doctor’s and the nurse’s stamp. They like the sketched so much they wanted a photocopy.
