FairGrounds Coffee is a nice home-grown alternative to Starbucks. A nutty melange of furniture, including a giant overstuffed armchair that’s impossible to get out of once you’ve sunk in. An equally nutty sampling of Norfolk mainstreamers and not-so-mainstreamers. And a spectacular view of the Starbucks across the street.
