Both my husband and I are summer averse so we travel below the equator when summer comes to New York City. This year it’s been unusually warm here in Buenos Aires — lots of days in the 60s. Can’t call it hot, but it’s disconcerting.

| The botanical garden seems to grow more beautiful every year: greener, lusher. The once-teeming cat population is thinning dramatically through the adoption neutering programs (for example: https://www.facebook.com/hacefelizaungato?ref=ts&fref=ts). This is a good thing, though I miss the cats. |
