I was hoping to sketch in nearby Charleston but it was the week of the big snowstorm in the Northeast and the weather was unseasonably cold, even in the South so I sketched from my car, just like I do in Montreal when it’s cold. I seem to have spent most of my sketching time painting around the perimeter of the salt marsh on James Island.
