Wild West Urbanity
One of the things I like about the smaller towns and cities of Montana is they lack large sprawling suburban developments. Each town has a dense, walkable core with lots of things to do in a relatively small area–pretty “urban.” Gardiner, Montana is located literally about 50 feet from Yellowstone National Park, and it’s full of cool old buildings and shops and restaurants. In addition to people, elk, bighorn sheep and bison ramble through town from time to time as well.
