Last thursday the Liège Urban Sketchers book was launched, by a well orginazed press conference. the book was an initiative by Gèrard Michel and the “Emulation” (they organize cultural and architectural events in Liège). The book recounts the drawings of our group of 13 sketchers, that we made last year in september. We did 4 days of sketching on a 5 meter long strip of paper each. Imagine: 65 meters of sketches! And the book is fantastic! From September 10 to 13, European sketchers in Liège (Belgium)
The Urban Sketchers of Liège, Gerard Michel, Antoine Michel and Fabien Denoël are ready to welcome sketchers from all over Europe to sketch their beautiful city, during the week of the 10th of September. The invited sketchers are Inma SERRANO (E), Simonetta CAPECCHI (I), Corinne RAES (B), Lapin Barcelona (F), Miguel HERRANZ (E), David MAGLI (F), Rolf SCHRÖTER (D), Rene FIJTEN (NL), Luis RUIZ (E) et Florian AFFLERBACH. セテで行われたフランスのUSKミーティング
Les 7 et 8 juin derniers avait lieu à Sète le rassemblement annuel des urban sketchers de France. Quelques Espagnols, quelques Belges aussi s’étaient joints au groupe des Français. Sète est une petite ville portuaire sur la côte méditerranéenne. Une centaine de participants s’y sont rassemblés, pour y dessiner la ville, son ambiance, et, naturellement, les bateaux…

Some days in Sardinia
Avec des amis, j’ai eu l’occasion de passer une semaine en Sicile. Huit jours de découvertes …et de croquis. Il n’y a pas de meilleur moyen de mettre en conserve ce que l’on voit ! La petite ville de Bosa, avec ses maisons très colorées… et son fouillis de toits. La Sardaigne est peuplée d’un grand nombre d’églises romanes influencées par l’art du nord de l’Italie

ジェラール・ミッシェルと私は「ピエロ・デッラ・フランチェスカの足跡をたどるスケッチ」という曲線遠近法についての都市スケッチワークショップを教えた。ジェラールは、私たちの周りのすべての空間を表現するために、（直交する空間に）4つから6つの消失点を使用して、いくつかの円筒形と球形の遠近法をスケッチしながら、私たちの視点を開くことについて教えてくれた。

October 4 – october 6, 2013 Sansepolcro, Italy Workshop description: Following Piero della Francesca steps, and his essay on perspective (Piero della Francesca was the first artist to write a comprehensive essay on perspective), participants will be invited to get familiar with the representation of the perspective of Renacimiento and its limits, surrounding by the inspiring classical architecture of Toscana.
