トーレス・デル・パイネ国立公園

[By Erika Brandner in Patagonia, Chile]  I had the privilege to visit the Torres del Paine National Park in early september, due to the Marathon that my husband wanted to run. The park encompasses mountains, glaciers, lakes, and rivers in southern Chilean Patagonia. Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO and Eighth Natural Wonder of the World.  The Torres del Paine (Towers) are the distinctive three granite peaks of the Paine mountain range or Paine Massif. They extend up to 2,800 meters above sea level, and are joined by the Cuernos del Paine (Horns).  I made this sketch on a 10 minutes tourism stop  (I finished the details later with a coffee). […]
