I never considered myself much of a portrait artist, and that drove me to practise even harder on any of my small sketchbooks that I keep around to draw people. After a couple of weeks, it doesn´t really matter anymore if I am able to portrait someone as he is, but I can assure you it began to be one of my favourite subjects! These 4 gentleman were having their own meals at different tables at Rafa´s (a local Spanish restaurant close to my studio), but “decided to seat next to each other” in my sketchbook 🙂
