Day 1. Train Saint-Petersburg-Kaliningrad. Going to Vilnius. Our accidental co-travelers drink vodka with beer, play cards and spray an apple air refresher every 30 minutes to eliminate the smell of the toilets.
Day 2. Vilnius, “Peronas” – bar, located on the main train station, but looking quite underground. They have a big Tony Soprano sculpure dressed in bathrobe.
Day 4. “La Boheme” – the candlelights and vaulted ceilings + lithuanian rapsberry wine make the impression of something magical. This impression came stronger when womens choir sitting at the long table started to sing, accompanying itself with the wine glasses.
Day 5. “Bukowsi bar”. I think there is one in every city.
Day 6. Vilnius-Klaipeda train.
Day 7. Kaliningrad, Yeltsin bar (named after former russian president).
Day 8. Gdansk, “Klatka B”. Herring and potatos.
Day 9. Gdansk, “Perro negro”. The cakes were so tasty! Cocteau twins as the soundtrack were also nice.
Day 11. Kaliningrad, “Bus station” coffeeshop.
Day 12. Riga. Real Bus station. 6 AM, waiting for the bus to Tallinn.
Day 12. Tallinn. “Frank” cafe. Waiting for the bus home.
