I’m Gaël, I’m 25 years old and I’ve been a freelance illustrator since 2023. I draw to soften the rigidity of real life with a vibrant palette and distorted perspectives. I make color sing so that lines can dance. With my markers and watercolors, I forge my own path between illustration, comics, and sketching. Passionate about sketching from life, I always have a sketchbook with me. I sketch everything from monuments to dilapidated houses, from the conviviality of drinks with friends to the monotony of strangers on public transport. Since 2023, I’ve been an active participant in the Urban Sketchers movement. I also draw sketched reports on festivals and events such as “L’été de Vaour” and “Welcome in Tziganie”.

I’m Raúl Deamo, from Barcelona (Spain), and I’ve been an urban sketcher since 2016. I’ve been drawing comics since I was a child, and later I worked as a graphic designer, audiovisual producer and illustrator—always pursuing visual storytelling through different disciplines. I’ve collaborated as a comic artist and illustrator with several newspapers and magazines. I’ve also published comic books, self-published sketchbook compilations and sketching books. Alongside this work, I run comic and sketching workshops for children and adults. In 2024 I received a prize at the Rendez-vous du Carnet de Voyage in Clermont-Ferrand for my book Estimada Collserola. In 2026 I released my new book, The University of Barcelona Sketched.

Ivan Blanco Vilar is a Swiss-born, Galician-rooted documentary filmmaker, photographer and urban sketcher based in Nice, France. With over 15 years of experience across international corporate communications, NGO advocacy, e-mobility and sports media, he has built his practice around one consistent principle: shine a light on the people who make things happen. He has covered events from offshore energy platforms to UN ocean conferences, from professional cycling races to electric micromobility projects across Europe. He shoots on both digital and analog film, sketches in the streets whenever he can, and speaks seven languages.
