姆德拉菲克(Midttrafik)

The local bus service in Århus, 姆德拉菲克(Midttrafik), has announced that they’ll be changing the ticket vending machines this winter, so I wanted to do a little sketch with some elements from the current vending machines while I still can. They sell three types of tickets: Adult, Child, and Extra (to add an extra zone). The currently sold basic ticket covers all four regular city zones, while the new vending machines will make it possible to buy tickets for just two or three zones.

This was drawn on the 15:08 departure of bus 55 from 埃米尔-维茨通道 today. The bus was only half full, which is rather unusual for the time of day, so I had a clear view of the other passengers and could pick out a couple of people for my sketch – a young woman on her way home from work and a student lounging in a window seat with a bulging bag full of books in his lap.
