Here is the next installment – the final book of the UK portion of my big trip. Only 3 weeks of sketching in Italy to go now!

This is my most ambitious and draining part of the trip – quite a lot of driving, over stimulation in going to numerous magnificent great houses one after the other, tracking down award winning tearooms and visiting/staying with friends And to add to all that I had a motorway closure and serious car problems! There were numerous pages in this book that I have had to complete since I have returned home (adding text, maps or colour) but most of it was done at the time – the frenetic pace is often apparent in my linework.
