Cabo Verde is an archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It is an African country that is close to Europe. I have a very strong connection to that country. Some years ago I went to Cabo Verde nine islands.
The other day I went to a Lisbon neighborhood, semi clandestine, that is inhabited mainly by people from Cabo Verde: Cova da Moura. It is another side of Lisbon. Where no one wants to go. Once your there is like an island in Cabo Verde. The restaurants with typical food, the kindness of the people, the ability to take time in doing things.
