The Flavel House Heritage Museum, Astoria

I am an architect by profession, an artist and a musician by passion. I live in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. I am a member of the Okanagan Urban Sketchers Group. I do other forms of art work in my spare time and those can be viewed in my Facebook Group : Suman’s Artwork.

While visiting Astoria, OR, I have seen one of the best-preserved Queen Anne architecture of the Flavel House Museum. After a detailed tour of the building I was so impressed with the character of this building that I sat across the street and free-hand sketched this stunning vintage architecture. As an architect myself, I wanted to keep this memento in my sketch form. I used architectural rendering pens to create the base and water colour markers as these are easy to carry.
