What is it? 

Sketcher ID is a completely free tool that lets you create a personalized badge with your name, country flag, and a QR code. The QR code links to information on public sketching activities and meetup spots during the 14th International Urban Sketchers Symposium in Toulouse, France, from July 15-18, 2026.

While Sketcher ID launches in connection with #USkToulouse2026, the goal is to help sketchers connect wherever they sketch.

Print it, wear it, and use it to easily connect with other sketchers and find them on the map.

Who is it for?

Anyone who enjoys sketching on location.
If you draw on location, you’re part of the Urban Sketchers family.

How do I sign up?

1. Go to: https://id.urbansketchers.org/
2. Enter your name, email, and country
3. Download and print your badge
4. Wear it proudly

What’s the purpose?

At Urban Sketchers, we believe everyone who sketches on location belongs.
With or without a Symposium ticket, you’re welcome to join, meet others from around the world, and sketch together in Toulouse.
This ID simply showcases that you’re a sketcher and helps you find and connect with each other, in Toulouse and beyond.

How do I get a physical ID?
Sign up online, then download and print it yourself.

Who is it for?
Anyone interested in sketching on location.

I have a Symposium ticket. Do I still need one?
It’s optional, but it’s a fun way to have a badge and access QR links to sketching activities and meetup spots around the city. 

Do I need a Sketcher ID to attend the free public events?

No. Free events are open to the public without needing a Sketcher ID. 

Does it give access to ticketed Symposium events?
No.

It’s only for public sketching activities.
