Asia Link Sketchwalk Pune 2026
19 – 22 November, 2026
Asia Link Sketchwalk Pune 2026 is a four day international urban sketching festival running 19 to 22
November 2026 at St. Vincent’s High School, Pune, India. 600 participants are expected from across Asia
Link chapters and the wider USk community, making it the largest urban sketching gathering held in India
to date.
The festival connects sketchers from multiple Asian chapters through a full program: hands-on
workshops, artist demos, cultural experiences rooted in Pune’s heritage, guided sketchwalks, a sketch
hunt, night sketching, drink and draw sessions, lectures, and an art market. A hop on hop off shuttle
follows a curated sketching route through the city. The program is designed so that sketchers of every
level, from first timers to symposium veterans, can participate fully.

Taxco, Mexico
TAXCO A TRAZO VIVO
12 – 14 March, 2027
Taxco a Trazo Vivo is a regional Urban Sketching gathering created to unite sketchers, artists, students, and anyone drawn
to observational drawing to document Taxco de Alarcón’s architectural, cultural, and human heritage
through on-location sketching.
Over three days, participants from different Urban Sketchers chapters and neighboring communities
will experience the city through sketchwalks, demos, workshops, talks, and collaborative activities
that foster learning, shared experiences, and a stronger regional community.

Budapest, Hungary
Urban Sketchers Budapest Meetup 2027
9 – 12 September, 2027
Urban Sketchers Budapest Meetup 2027 will explore the connection between the city and nature, with a focus on Budapest’s parks, green spaces, and the Danube River. Building on previous meetups, the event will encourage participants to sketch and experience the city’s natural environment while considering the importance of green, breathable spaces. Workshops and sketchwalks will take place in parks and along the Danube, examining how people interact with urban nature, how architecture responds to its surroundings, and how the river is used and enjoyed. Through sketching, participants will celebrate the relationship between people, plants, water, architecture, and the city together.

Stellenbosch, South Africa
Sketching Under the Oaks
26 – 27 September, 2027
Sketching Under the Oaks is a two-day urban sketching event in Stellenbosch, South Africa, featuring workshops, sketchwalks, and an exhibition of art materials. The event will bring together approximately 80 participants, six tutors, and seven volunteers. It aims to build connections among local and regional sketchers, inspire youth and students, and strengthen the Western Cape sketching community. Participants will explore and document Stellenbosch’s rich heritage, architecture, natural beauty, and vibrant street life. Known for its historic Cape Dutch buildings and magnificent oak-lined streets, Stellenbosch provides an inspiring setting for sketchers to observe, connect, and creatively document the character of the town.

Hyderabad, India
Deccan Hues: Sketching Three Eras of Hyderabad
19 – 21 November, 2027
Deccan Hues: Sketching Three Eras of Hyderabad is a three-day regional Urban Sketchers gathering in Hyderabad, India. The event will explore more than four centuries of urban evolution, from Qutb Shahi and Asaf Jahi palaces, forts, mosques, bazaars, and streets to modern civic spaces and Hyderabad’s thriving technology sector. Through sketchwalks, workshops, and shared experiences, participants will document the city’s architecture, culture, commerce, and everyday life. Approximately 300–350 sketchers and 1,000 community participants are expected, coinciding with Urban Sketchers Hyderabad’s 10th anniversary and its 500th sketching event.
