Coming home past Kansas City

KC at night

Thousands of lights sparkling in the dark; a drizzle soon to turn into freezing rain made the sky lower over the hills. Bare, black of winter silhouetted against the sky…beautiful.

But I’m glad I wasn’t driving–my poor sick husband was–and glad we’re home and warm!
