Inauguration, Batch 2

What a great day! I had a lot of fun with 2 million friends on the National Mall today. Hopefully I’ll have some of the sketches I started up soon (with some touching up) but until then, here are a few more pre-inaugural drawings of the National Mall.

This is of course where the inauguration started today. When I sketched it, the men testing the microphones performed Abbott & Costello’s “Who’s On First” routine.

This is the viewing booth where the President watched the parade after he took his ride from the Capitol Building. I wish I had seen Barack & Michelle take their walk along Pennsylvania Ave., from what I saw afterwords it was a great moment to behold.

and this is were the big concert was last Sunday.
( I got to watch Sheryl Crow and Will.I.Am rehearse “One Love” the day before.)

It’s been a fun time to be in DC.

More to come.
