chipotle schmipotle

Hundred degree heat or thereabouts is here, so I cool down with a nice spicy burrito from fresh burrito chain Chipotle.

Have you noticed how everything these days is ‘chipotle’? Food marketers in the US can’t get enough of it. I even saw some chocolate dessert thing somewhere that had chipotle in the title recently, presumably to entice ye who cannot get enough chipotle. I’m surprised automakers haven’t started using it to shift cars in these troubled times. “The new Chevrolet Chipotle, more fuel efficient than a Fajita and spicier than a Ford.”

The building on the left used to be Bogey’s Books, an independent second hand bookstore which I loved going into. However, unlike Chipotle, things with ‘Bogey’ in the name don’t do quite as well, and they closed down last year. ‘Snot fair.

That’s not my bike there, by the way. Mine’s black, and doesn’t appear to be emitting radiation.
