Tour de France

In honor of the Tour de France, and because the drawings posted by Lapin last week made me happily remember the experience, I’ve put up a few drawings I made of the Tour de France at the Champs-Elysees in Paris in 2006. What a great thing to do! It was so interesting to wait on the street for literally hours with the crowd, only to have the bicycles race by in less than one minute! Talk about expectations – but the Tour did not disappoint! You can read the story on my blog posting here. I plan to go back to Paris and draw it again very soon. My dream is to draw the Tour de France from Carcassonne one day – what a fantasy come true THAT would be!
