Magic Kingdom: The Definition of Happiness

Parade

I just returned from my annual trip to Walt Disney World with the Dalvero Academy. Magic Kingdom is truly my favorite park. I love the carousel, Cinderella’s Castle, The Rose Garden, and The Crystal Palace. I instantly turn eight years old again and remember when my mom took me there for the first time. There is just something different about this park. The music, the fun, the stickers, the buttons, the adults turning into kids! I found myself eating big bags of pink cotton candy and sampling fudge bars! (Of course now I make sure to throw an iced coffee in there) I remember seeing one of my friends eat a HUGE candy apple and she had it all over her face! It was great! I mean you get excited if Mickey waves at you during the parade! (I mean well I do) I saw one guy jumping rope in the middle of Main Street USA with Disney employees and he jumped all the way up to 100! Haha!! He was so proud of himself and we were all clapping! Where else can you do that?! On our last night at Magic Kingdom I drew the night parade. Standing behind me was this very excited family. The kids were shouting all the characters names and so where their parents! All I could do was smile as I drew what was passing by. It gave me a warm feeling inside. I guess I would call that feeling, happiness.-Dan
