A weekend in Torino 2

torino p castello s

Another very important square in Torino is the Piazza Castello. It is with ca. 400 sqm the second biggest square in the city. The royal palace (on the back ) and the Palazzo Madama (right) are there. The monument of the Alfieri in front of the Palazzo Madama was been restaurated and covered with a big advertising box. I didn’t want to draw it. (I first thought it was just advertising) So the buildings in the back are not very accurate.
