For many years, this nice house was left in such a poor state that most of us that walked by thought it would not last much longer… and would be substituted by another anonimous apartment block.

Well, we were wrong this time! When the Museo Picasso Málaga was settled in the city less than a decade ago, thanks to a donation made by Christine & Bernard Ruiz Picasso, they purchased the house for their own use. The plans didn’t go well and finally they did not have a house of their own in Málaga, but the building was saved from demolition. Now it houses a trendy restaurant…

Some decades ago it was the german consulate. What a change.
