Long time no draw

I have been painting a lot lately, working for an exhibition this summer, which means that my sketching habit has been severely limited. Today I got out, though, and spent some time drawing in a café with a friend. Oh joy. I think drawing makes me a better person – more balanced, nicer to be around, and more aware of the world around me – and I should never EVER let 26 days pass between two drawings in my sketchbook. Ever.

The café is called Vurma, which in Swedish is the word for having a passion or a craze for something, and they certainly seem to have a craze for fantastically kitchy interior details and juicy colours. As soon as I entered the place, I got an instant urge to draw. That´s enough to make it a great place to be, but they also have superb coffee, which of course makes it even better.
