Reportage of the ‘other’ New York City

Recently I had the opportunity to make some drawings of downtown New York City from a terrace on the 31st and then 47th floor of a luxury building. Wow. Can’t imagine seeing this while I eat my breakfast every morning. Well, actually I could imagine it very easily!

I really enjoyed the feeling of making these drawings from my perch on the edge of the terrace; felt like I was floating in mid- air. Being all alone 47 stories up and trying to catch all the complication and intensity of Manhattan. That’s called FUN!
